Buying wool in skeins...
I finally found some wool thats the right colour to knit arm warmers for my grandaughters but it comes in skeins I am just wondering how I deal with them.. do I have to roll it into a ball or knit it as it comes in a skein? I have never bought wool like this before... thanks for any info

best floor cleaner?
My kitchen floor is filthy! I've scrubbed it and scrubbed it, but the lovely cream porcelin tiles are still an icky grey. Any suggestions on the best floor cleaner to get? I'm running out of patience.....

Stains
our mattress is grotty. badly stained. :oI do not want to buy a new one as that isnt being frugal. I do have a recently purchased mattress protector (a bit late, I know). Any ideas how to remove the stains? its a good quality matress, white background with silver motifs. I cant scrub it with bleach or anything.:(

Help needed with locating carving wood
Hi, im in the bristol area, and have really been struggling to find somewhere to buy a piece of wood to carve from! All i seem to be able to find is precut wood for building etc., that isnt suitable to then go in and carve into. Was wondering if anyone out there knew of anywhere i can buy a lump of wood basically? Double cream....but from goats
OK, so someone made a mistake (not me!) and bought a carton of double cream but it's made from goat's milk. It's distinctly goat-milk like so does anyone have any ideas of what to do with it? I'm guessing a savory dish but it's really quite strong.... Thanks :D
