Amy Dacyzyn of Tightwad Gazette - new clip on Youtube

I thought this might be of interest to some of you. I'm currently reading The Complete Tightwad Gazette and looked Amy Dacyzyn up on Youtube out of curiosity. There is a recently added clip where Amy shows you round her beautiful house - it is the sort of house I dream about! The frugal living obviously paid off.

Hope this is interesting, L x

Thanks for posting that. It was really interesting. She's got a lovely house.
  • I really found that interesting - lovely woman:)
I looked at some of the other frugal videos - but where are the UK ones? Surely lots of MSE OSers could do us proud?

Thanks for posting :D I never thought to look for her on Youtube (mostly because it's so slow for me on my laptop). Have nearly finished her Complete Tightwad so nice to see her house etc - lucky lady it's gorgeous!

Remember though that Amy made millions from selling her books - so it is not the direct result of frugal living rather the indirect marketing of the ideas to people.

Thanks for the link though, love things like this!

    loved the link thank you!
I agree where are the UK ones, lets jump on the bandwagon! (can you tell I also got way layed with all the other links!)
What they are saying is amatuer compared to squishing loo rolls imho we are now pros! (says she after being here for like amonth, and scouring all the threads!) We should all take one thing, home video it, post it, then edit it all together for a MSE vid! We could be the next big thang! *gets out her hair straighteners ready for all the TV interviews and personal appearances* :D:D:D
