Maybe it just means that it uses Irish beef?

Well thats what I thought, but its called Irish Lasagne in the magazine too, I was going to post about it last week, but there wasn't a link.

ETA it doesn't say to use Irish beef.
  • 700g (1½lb) Irish minced beef

Just clicked on your link and the recipe is called Irish Beef Lasagne. The main ingredient is Irish Beef. They don't call me Hercule Poirot at the weekends for nothing you know ;):D
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
  • I am married to an irishman and I know how they work... Irish Lasagne sounds a bit like a left handed screwdriver..!!!
  • if you follow the recipe it probably comes out as a shepherds pie??

If you knew the size of my family..you may start to wonder if that's true!!!
I live in a Very small English town and still have a pronounced Northern Ireland accent, the amount of people who comment when I speak that they have a granny, grandad, aunt, uncle etc..who come from Ireland! or that they are married to someone with this connection:)..it amazes me rofl.
Even American Presidents try to get in on the act!!! Why...has no one ever read our history! lol
