Too high? Slow Cooker question
Made a chicken curry this morning from a pataks curry paste. I put it on high with the intention of lowering the temperature when I left for work. I forgot. I put it on about 9:30am, won't be home till 4:30ish. Will I return to find my flat burned down/inedible curry?

how fresh is 'doorstep milk'?
I only ask because - my milkman delivered saturdays two pints on friday evening. great. then on saturday he delivered three pints to cover monday tues and wed. does anyone have a foolproof recipe for chocolate cheesecake? I haven't made a cheesecake in years and I've never made a choccy one but a friend has asked I make one for a kids party at the weekend. Sea salt flakes
Just had Tesco delivery,my normal salt was substituted for sea salt flakes. I,ve never used these before ,Do I use them the same as normal salt in cooking and what about putting them on your cooked fooe ie,chips ,Do I just sprinkle them ? Just a stupid old woman asking ,lol

can I put salad leaves in soup?
Sorry BG's I know it's here somewhere, but I can't find the soup thread:o I've got 1/4 bag of baby salad leaves, not crispy any more but not gone to mush yet! can I chuck them in hm veggie soup? if not then they will go on the compost heap.

Microwave plate warmers just cracked my new plate!
I have some microwave plate warmers i have had quite a few years,bought from lakeland and yesterday i used them to heat up some new denby wear plates (argos hukd bargain btw) and after i took them out,one suddely cracked in half.What did i do wrong?
