What to have with my tea..sauce etc?

In oven got a Chicken Breast cooking attempted to stuff some cheese and garlic inside, wrapped it up best i could with some bacon and pinned it with cocktail sticks.

Have diced butternut squas and potato boiling to make mash
and some carrots, brocolli n little bit of parsnip in another pan.

I didnt think that far ahead, am not sure what to have with it, especially with having the mash.

any ideas?

Have got some reggae reggae jerk/bbq sauce could drizzle some over the mash i guess

i'd deglaze the roasting pan with a little stock or white wine and make a 'jus' or thin gravy to us commoners!

I am weak when it comes to cream sauces. So for me, I'd put a slosh of white wine in with the chicken, and some cream ( I seem to have loads left from Christmas).

    It all sounds deee-lish!

or make a tomato sauce from a tin of tomatoes (if you have the chopped with herbs all the better). add some herbs, ketchup or a spoon of sugar and reduce down a bit. add seasoning to taste and serve over the mash and chicken. goes nicely with cheese dishes so shouldnt clash with the cheesy filling.
  • Do you have to have a sauce with it?

My favourite meal is chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and red pesto, wrapped in bacon or parma ham, served with rosti potato and spinach. Bootiful. :D
  • mmm it was delicious the cheese n garlic had stayed inside the chicken bravo me. i could have just drizzled the oil out of the pan over the mash.
was in a rush to get it all on my plate the butternutsquash+potato mash wasnt properly drained, so a little sloppy.
