I just sprinkle them in the food and taste. When I've watched the cookery programmes, the chefs have said that you use more of the sea salt than normal table salt, so if you would normally add a teaspoon of table salt, you'd add a bit more than that of the sea salt.0

i have found that the sea salt flakes are stronger flavour so need less than ordinary salt , but since trying them much prefer to ordinary salt
you can take a pinch and crumble over your grub
or a half teaspoon un crumbled into a saucepan of hot water for boiling veg etc
recently bought a salt mill which was on sale , and now use them in that , i would definateley say the flavour is stronger in the sea salt flakes so dont use as muchmy favourite food is spare ribs0 -
if they are maldon flakes one of their 'properties' is that they taste more salty that normal salt so you need less..0
