Costa lemon and orange muffins

I am a little bit addicted to these and feel I should be able to make them myself. They seem to have some mandarin(?) in the middle and some sort of syrup - like drizzle cake. I don't suppose anyone who has had one could suggest how to make them?

Are they the ones with lots of poppy seeds in them?

(I might be thinking of Starbucks.)

They have a little dollop of icing on the top? The Susan Reimer Lemon muffin recipe is very similar if you leave them in a sealed container overnight they get the squidgy top that the Costa ones have. I suppose you could make a bit of mandarin puree and stick a blob in the middle of each muffin either before they are baked or afterwards using an icing bag.

I don't have my book with me so I can't post the recipe but I know alot of others have it. I just leave the poppyseeds out

Yes, they are orange muffins with a dollop of soft lemon icing I think. There's no poppy seeds. They are low fat, which is why I think adapting one of my own muffin recipes won't work. Does anyone have the Susan Reimer recipe? Thanks.
