Use by date - cauldron mushroom burger

But I just looked and saw the use by date was tomorrow. I'd normally not worry, and just do a sniff test, but I don't want to stuff up her special meal: have other…

I've mucked up my pralines
I've already done several batches but the ones I started late last night have set rock-solid in the kitchen overnight. I think this was probably due to the lack of alcohol in these ones. Can I re-melt so the mixtures are pliable?

Defrosted turkey too early I think
I heard it's a day for every 5lbs of turkey, mine is about 9lb (Will that feed 6 adults? If not I should buy another) anyways, I took it out at 2am this morning and it's full defrosted (or seems to be!) I didn't put it in the fridge though, I left it on the breakfast bar. I've put it in the fridge now. Will that still be…

Do you have an emergency christmas meal plan?
We had more snow again in West Yorkshire overnight and more is due today. My food order is due this morning, but I am not sure it will reach us - quiet cul de sac, not gritted, steep as anything. It may be possible to ferry the bags up on foot - and our car is on the main road, so we can stash some bags in it while we're…
