The Hairy Bikers Christmas show and what books do you recommend?

Taped on sky+ the Hairy Bikers Christmas Special.

They are really good, I can't believe I haven't bothered to watch them before.

Loved the Turkey & Ham pie & the bagels.

Plan on having the bagels xmas morn & maybe doing the pie with the left overs, thought the cheese straws looked good too.

They have three books out, I want to buy at least one. What one should I buy?

Anyone else watch it?

I watched that, made me want to try Smoked Salmon bagels though I hate fish! My Mum has one of their books she got for her birthday, the tour of britain one, not usre what it's called but I didn't rate it - so go for one of the others lol

we always have bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon on xmas morning....

We saw them doing a cookery demonstration a couple of years ago when they came over here. We had our photos taken with them They are both really lovely blokes, but I was surprised how tall they both are!

Any Hairy Biker fans?

Just discovered them over Xmas (on Sky repeats).

Really like their style of cooking - got their Bakewell pudding (from the Tour of Britain book for pudding today).

But their two previous books seem about worldwide cooking (I had a flip through in the shops).

But their shows seem full of home cooking.

They only have three books out so far right? With a forth coming out shortly.

So do they not have a book(s) to go with all this UK cooking they are doing on the shows?

Thats the one I have.

But there seems to be a lot on TV that not in it, so do they have other books with British cooking?

I think they've only got the 3 books with Mums Knows Best due out shortly.
