Scallops
Hi, My friend gave me some scallops in shells the other day (5 of them) that they caught fresh that day and have been put in the freezer. I've never had them before so any ideas on how to cook them and what to eat them with?! Cheers

freezing food
My fridge freezer is supposedly a frost free one, but every thins i put in there, comes out covered in frost and meat gets freeezer burn??? i put things into freezer bags, am i doing something wrong?

how do i save my candle?

Is my meat ruined?
Aaargh, forgot to take my stewing steak out of the freezer to use in the slow cooker so i thought i'd defrost it quickly in the microwave. Unfortunately i used the medium setting instead of the defrost setting and it's kind of half cooked :o is it totally ruined or do you think i could still use it in some way? thanks

Red Onion Marmalade - jar question.

Alternative to Mixed ground spice?
I am just following Delias recipe for mincemeat and thought I had all the ingredients, however I am in the middle of it and realised I don't have mixed ground spice :rolleyes: - the recipe also has nutmeg and ground cinnamon - so could I either omit it or is there an alternative?
