I guess you want to use up your fresh stuff first then? And you need to five (as good as) adults?

    Chicken pasta bake
Chop and onion and fry off; add your chicken breasts chopped into smallish pieces, then add some chopped ham. Season. Sprinkle over a spoonful of flour and stir in. Now add some milk and stir until thickened slightly. Grate some cheese into the sauce. Stir hot pasta into this, put in a dish, grate cheese over the top and cook under hot grill until the cheese is bubbling.

    Sausage casserole thingy
Slice an onion and fry off. Chop sausages into pieces and fry off with the onion. Stir in a couple of tins of baked beans, a tablepoon of worcestershire sauce (wait - did you have that?:rotfl:) and a spoonful of tomato puree or even ketchup. Cut some cheese into tiny cubes and stir into the sauce. Meanwhile, boil and mash some potatoes (you could add some swede or parsnips into this mash as well if you like). Put the sausage mix into a dish and top with the mashed potato. Brown under the grill and serve.

    Ratatouille
Fry together onions, sliced courgettes and tomatoes. Add mixed herbs, a tin of tomatoes, a spoonful of sugar and simmer for about 20 minutes until it's all softened and yummy. Eat as is, or use as a sauce for chicken, or as a side dish with or without grated cheese melted on top.

    Pretend tartiflette
In your MICROWAVE, melt an ounce of butter; add a sliced onion, cook on HIGH 2 mins. Add a load of (technical term) thinly sliced potatoes, seasoning with pepper and mixing in whenever you get a layer in your dish. When you get to the top, pour milk or milk and cream over the top to halfway up the dish, season with salt, and cook on HIGH 10 minutes. Remove and stir. At this point, you could stir in some chopped ham. Return to the microwave and cook on HIGH for a further 10 minutes. Check again. If it's cooked and has absorbed all the milk, top with cheese and return to the microwave until the cheese has melted. If it hasn't, cook for a bit longer before adding cheese. You may have to add more milk.

    Christmas meatless meatloaf
    1 small head celery
2oz dried apricots, soaked (ok I know you haven't got this!)
    4oz chopped walnuts
    1.5 cups of fresh breadcrumbs
    2 chopped onions
    1.5 oz butter
1 tblsp parsley (if you've got some growing in the garden :rotfl:)
Drain apricots and chop. Melt butter; add oinon and cook over very low heat until soft. Add celery, apricots and walnuts. Cook for 4 mins. Cool. Add breadcrumbs and parsley.
Depending on your chopping ability, I then sometimes put this in the magimix and give it a quick zhuzh just to chop everything a wee bit finer, but you don't have to. This is the stuffing we use for the turkey at Christmas but it is DELICIOUS baked on its own in a dish for about half an hour or so and makes a mean "veggie burger".

Anyway, is that enough to be going on with? Obviously you can turn those lentils into veggie burgers or dhal; those chick peas into channa puri or felafel; that broth mix into soup; you can make gougere with the cheese, eggs, flour and cream...
