How long should I cook my homemade frozen fishcakes for?
I made them with Christmas leftovers - smoked salmon, mashed potato, a beaten egg and a tin of tuna. Made five, about half an inch thick, and 4 or 5 inches diameter. I was thinking I would sprinkle them with flour as they were quite wet when they went in the freezer and then cook them for about 25 mins on 180c. Does anyone…

freezing cooked ham
I was looking for the discussion of freezing cooked ham, as I have quite a bit and I don't think we can get through it. I found mentions of sliced cooked ham and of ham you'd cooked yourself - what about a 'formed ham joint' (nicer than it sounds, honest)? I'm running out of ingredients to put it with in made-up dishes and…

Kenwood chef blender - help please
Hi I wonder if any experts out there can help. I have an old A701 and various attachments gathered from ebay. It probably needs a service to be honest. The problem I have is with the blender attachment - it's stopped working - when I turn it on, the blades spin - but maybe not quickly enough - they don't do the job anymore…

Unsuitable for oven cooking.
I picked up two Tesco finest ready meals today from the reduced section (99p each, down from just under £4 originally). I decided I quite fancied the Indonesian Spiced fried rice & vegetables. On the back it said "unsuitable for oven cooking". Not having a microwave (!), I stuck in my fan oven on a baking tray for 20…
