Yeast question
Can anyone tell me what weight a sachet of yeast is please? I buy Doves farm yeast in a pack that I measure it out of, so get a bit stuck when I find a lovely recipe on here and it says 1 sachet yeast. Thanks!

I want a recipe for a Rolo Toffee type mousse

Freezing bread
Hi! Can anyone tell me how long sliced white bread should last after it has been taken out of the freezer and defrosted? I've noticed that a weird chemically/alcoholly smell develops in it sometimes after a couple of days. Is this normal??

Well, I pulled out what I thought was a pizza base, and I think it is a naan bread as I can see green flecks in it now it has defrosted :o Anyone know if I can use it as a pizza base ?

best way to keep food hot for family meal
We are having all the in-laws at the weekend so I will be catering for 11. I am doing a roast but will cook the meat early morning as I will need the oven for roast spuds etc. I have a food slicer and wil use that to slice the meat but how can I keep it hot until everthing else is ready.
