  • Just finished doing my plan and shopping list - so I'm quick off the mark too:D

    Have a good week all

  • It is likely to change because I never stick to it, days always get mixed around depending on what we're doing, but at the moment, it stands at:-

(starting from today, cos I never put anything down for the last list:-

Fri - Pizza Express (to spend up the rest of my pin money before it starts over tomorrow)
Sat - Going oop north, so will dinner cooked for me.
Sun - Greek Lamb Bake (never made it before, but the recipe (found on here) sounds nice.
Mon - Mystery Shop (free food!!!)
Tues - HM Hamburgers, chips, veg
Wed - Sausage casserole, rice (mine isn't homemade, it's Bisto sauce, really need to look into making my own sauces)
Thurs - I'm at college, so they will have takeaway
    Fri - Shepherds pie
Sat - Roast Pork, spuds, veg (this will change as the lump of pork is huuuggee, so will prob save it for when my rents are around)
Sun - Pasta and sauce with gammon in.
    Mon - Goulash, crusty bread.

That's as far as my list goes for now, so I'll stop. If more mystery shops in our area come up, we'll do them and shift the meals along.

OK, this is the first time I'm posting my meal plans, though I have been making them, irregularly, for a few months now.

Sat: Chicken fajitas w peppers, sweetcorn and avocado
Sun: Lamb roast w green beans
Mon: Pork chops w curly kale
Tue: Fish pie w tomato salad
    Wed: Pasta bake
Thu: Lamb & chickpea stew, w potatoes or couscous
    Fri: Chicken stirfry w noodles

I have everything in the fridge or freezer except the veggies for the Fri stirfry.

BTW, tomorrow's fajitas will be made from grilled chicken thighs left over from tonight.

Hi everyone, well my week looks something like this. Might be a couple of changes but basics will hopefully stay the same. Going to be a busy week and I am planning on a few quick meals which will be just homecooked stuff reheated from freezer. Veg as usual depends what is in. Plenty of things in for lunches I think, will check tomorrow when I make sure there is nothing I still need to go shopping for

    Saturday - Sausages and something
Sunday - Stew and dumplings (DP away so reheated one from freezer)
Monday - Lasagne & garlic bread (got those in the freezer too)
    Tuesday - BBQ chicken
Wednesday - Chilli & rice (in the freezer made)
    Thursday - Fish
    Friday - Tacos and salad
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
