Mines gone for a shift around cause I didn't have the ingredients I needed for my casserole (DOH) and then OH forgot to tell me he's out tonight :mad: he wants to 'link me into his electronic diary' so he doesn't forget in future - like I'm his secretary or something :mad: :mad:0

Changed tonights again:rolleyes: ...but only because OH bought some TTD sausages reduced to 50p. We are now having Sausages, Mash, Veg & Onion/mushroom gravy....yummy!
Sainsburys have their TTD Vilvaldi spuds at £1.24 again for a 2kg bag.

How do you make this? The only Spanish dish I know of is Paella...

Ingredients
Diced Chicken
Diced Onion
Diced Red Pepper
2 Garlic cloves crushed
2 pints hot Chicken Stock
1 & half tsp Tumeric
2 tbsp Oil
11 oz long grain rice
4oz peas
Parsley to garnish
1. Put Tumeric in with chicken stock and leave to infuse (becareful what you use as it stains!)
2. Heat oil in large frying pan and fry chicken until sealed, then add onion, pepper & garlic and fry until onions soft
3. Add rice and 3/4s of the stock and simmer for about 10 mins
4. Add peas and remaining stock
5. Keep stirring until all liquid has been absorbed, add extra stock if necessary if rice not quite cooked.
