Hi,
I wonder if any of you can help?
I live in an old house with aluminium windows. Not all of them are properly double glazed (saving up for replacements) and they steam up and run in the winter.
There is some black mouldy type stuff on the frames and on the seals. What is the best way of cleaning them and reducing the problem?
The kitchen window is particularly bad.

Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I use babywipes to clean our window frames.
I think the only way to kill off the mould is to use a bleach solution but that will make the rubber seals perish so not a good idea.
I would give them a deep clean with a stardrops solution to start with then wipe down any condensation daily through the winter and regularly wipe frames with baby wipes to keep clean
Hope that helps0
