Home made bread - advice needed

Ruined boots
I have a pair of brown boots I ADORE! but I bought a polish for them and it turned out to be the wrong shade. ( I know I'm an idiot) :D and now hence my title they're ruined. can anyone advise me how to get the polish off. It's not completally covered my boots just bits of it in big patches all over them. chutney pan
Is it better to keep a pan solely for making chutney or can I use one of my every day ones? I am worried that the chutney taste would cling to the pan forever and taint anything cooked in that pan afterwards.

Falafels dissolved while cooking them!
I followed the recipe, but when they were frying they started dissolving. I saved them by scooping them out and finishing them under the grill. Any idea why it happened? The oil was hot.

cleaning w/m hoses
Apart from vinegar and b/crb or washing soda is there anything ese I could try to ensure my washing machine pipes are free from gunge apparently according to another site ,if you wash on low temps as I do to save money ,the hoses become blocked with bacteria,happened to me this week ,so I put on a boil wash to clear things…

How To Get Creases Out Of Rug
Bought a nice rug from Ebay which was folded up when I bought it. It's been lying flat in my hall for about a month now but still appears really crumpled. I've tried a warm iron but to no avail. Can't afford to buy a carpet cleaner or similar. Any ideas out there?

help re: roasting vegetables
hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me? i want to roast - potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, parsnips, leeks and mushrooms. how long do you think they would take approx and would i put them all in at the same time or do i par boil potatoes?

freezing fresh food
Sorry if this is a silly question. I want to make a few lasagna's and I don't know if I am supposed to cook them first before freezing or do I just freeze the raw ingredients OR do I partially cook them? Also, how long can they be kept in a freezer for? Thanks x
