Ruined boots

Options
I have a pair of brown boots I ADORE! but I bought a polish for them and it turned out to be the wrong shade. ( I know I'm an idiot) :D and now hence my title they're ruined. can anyone advise me how to get the polish off.
It's not completally covered my boots just bits of it in big patches all over them.
Many thanks
SL

I did that once    The only solution was to polish all over, and have darker brown boots :o I took the view that trying to remove it might make the situation worse.
