 Well, I've just done a coloureds wash but guess who put 2 white school polo shirts in:rolleyes: - I am full of cold and not thinking straight!!! Anyway, they have come out pale blue - what can I do to get them back to white please?
I only have soda crystals along with washing powder as I'm all packed up to move, and I really don't feel well enough to go trolling round Tesco.
Does anyone have any ideas please?

Do the shirts have any school crests on...if not, then try a weak bleach solution in the sink and give them a soak.
I do put a splash of bleach into my whites wash and my daughter's games polo shirt that is white will be in that wash, has got an embroidered crest on it, (red and blue) that does not seem to gone any paler.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
I use household bleach solution on our white polo shirts once a term - no crests- although it does seem to knock a bit of stuffing out of the material - they last a year this way and then go for dusters.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

I was going to suggest bleach too - so long as the faric's not left soaking too long it should be fine.Resolution:
