chutney pan

Is it better to keep a pan solely for making chutney or can I use one of my every day ones? I am worried that the chutney taste would cling to the pan forever and taint anything cooked in that pan afterwards.

Hi, Jasmine  I have 2 large Le Creuset and a pressure cooker pan that I use for chutney. None of them has lingering smells - I use them for jam and marmalade, too

Hi jasmine,
Like elizabethp, I use my pressure cooker pan and there are no lingering smells or tastes once it's washed.
