silly question i know! but do i just brown whole chicken first, plonk in SC with veggies and chicken stock? what does everyone else recommend?

Philadelphia/Pesto Pasta
Hi, On the Philadelphia advert on TV there is a recipe for pasta with Philadelphia and pesto. I'm sure it has mushrooms in it too. On their website I can see a recipe but its not the same one. Can anone remember it? I'm sure on TV it uses Garlic Philadelphia but the one on the site uses the plain variety.:confused:

how long does supermarket "fresh soup" keep?
Hi I confess to having bought some readymade so called "fresh soup" from Tescos at the weekend. It doesn't give a use within x days once opened but its been opened since Sat. The use by date isn't up for a few days. Is it ok to eat this lunchtime or should I chuck it out? thanks

:o In the bathroom we have a mirror that has been hidden by a shower tidy for ages, now it's covered in scum type stuff YUK How on earth can I get if off? Tried bleach/stardrops Anyone would think I live in a dump and I dont :p

what to make with casserole beef apart from a casserole!
I have 2 packs of casserole beef I got really cheaply but not sure what to do with them other than a beef casserole! Any suggestions? I have potatoes, veg, stock cubes, seasoning, gravy, ect...lots in really as my tesco.com shop was delivered yesterday. Helen x
