I burned my toast this morning ( whilst on MSE, lol). What can I use to rid the house of the horrible lingering smell ?

Hi fruitycar,
Boil a half water half vinegar mixture in a saucepan for 20 minutes and the smell should go.

yep, I opened doors and windows, but it ain't 'alf chilly, we had a frost overnight and it hasn't really warmed up that much all day! I've had my oil burner on all day up its still lingering upstairs, I shal have to go and light the oilburner in the bedroom.... its a good job OH is away tonight or he might think he was on a promise0
