Cleaning wooden floors

Hi everyone :wave:

After reading all the reccommendations on OS i've been out and bought some microfibre cloths, Stardrops and Zoflora. I've been really impressed so far, but was wondering if stardrops will be ok to use on a proper wooden floor (not laminate)?

I regularly clean my real wood floors with it and they come up lovely. Doesn't seem to have done any damage. Hope this helps.

I would think it depends on whether the floors are sealed e.g.painted with varnish. We have natural waxed floors, so the detergent in Stardrops would probably strip the wax layer and damage the underlying wood. I've not tested this to check though!

I use stardrops on my real wood floor, which has been varnished with floor varnish and its fine.

I used to use Astonish or Pledge Floor cleaner (not the polish) before reading on here about stardrops, and can't tell any difference.

I spray diluted stardrops and mop with a microfibre mop (flat head type) I bought for a fiver at Pound Stretcher. Works fine. Removes scuff marks.
