help. i've just pranged my car!
Right, there's a bit of a back story here, I will try to keep it brief. Beginning December, our car was hit and the driver drove off. As damage was substantial, we put it through our insurers for repair. The fix was meant to take 2 weeks, but there were delays in that the garage was unable to make our parking sensors fit…

London - Edinburgh by Electric Car BBC
Anyone else struck by how awful that journey appears to have been? Cost of £10 at household rates (no fuel duty and reduced VAT) sounds expensive and is only cheap in real terms because of current legislation. No mention of costs at the charging points. Average speed of 6mph (overall). Filmed doing 45mph on the motorway…

Exahust heat shield
Hi I was getting a rattling noise from the front side of my Ford MOndeo and it seems like the exhaust heat shield is not holding onto its place. Ford is quoting £650 to replace it, but I've no plans to do it at Ford, its just to get an idea of what part is causing it, coz when I took it to my local garage they were not…

Have just bought a 2.5 V6 Mondeo (T reg) and if you accelerate, the revs just go up and it does not change gear (or at least it does, but it takes ages and ages). The only way I have found to make it change quicker, is to ease off the gas, and it seems to then change up. I know these boxes are notorious, but was wondering…

Hi, Luckily, or greedily as you might say, i own two cars. Both only driven by me, and of course one at a time. Does anyone know of anywhere you can get a good deal on insuring them. I kind of resent paying two full insurance policies. One is parked in the drive, the other garaged. I'd also be happy to have a clause saying…
