Motor insurance quote; how do I know whether accident was my fault?
I am getting quotes for motor insurance for a new car I'm buying, and am asked whether I've had any accidents in the past 3 years. Double flash from camera on opposite side of road
If someone, hypothetically of course, were driving on an empty Gloucestershire road at night 20mph over a 50mph speed limit and a camera on the opposite side of the road flashed twice as they drove towards it...could they be prosecuted? The road in question would have lines on both sides of the road. Thanks, Andy

A useful tip to save drivers money
Hi all - I'm a member of a car-share scheme and have just calculated that I'm saving not far off £900 a year. Just wanted to share that as they are going big on it being the first ever Liftshare Week next week, and they want to urge more people to give it a try! They don't make any money out of it, so I don't mind…

Cheap Train Tickets
I have a day return from Oxford to York (needs a 16-25 railcard) for Saturday 02/10/10 for anybody interested. Seems a shame to let them go to waste and as the prices are sky high I thought it would be good if they go to a fellow MSE member for cheap. PM for details or check here…

Problems with my Passat - Again!
I'm really fed up with my Passat, or Passit as I'm now calling it. She's totally conked out on me and is laid up in the local VW dealers who can't look at it until next Tuesday *rolls eyes*. Thankfully I just managed to get it into a parking space in work before she died, a local garage 'put her on a machine' and it came…
