Mondeo 2l diesel question
Hello all.
My DH is considering buying a 2l diesel Mondeo TDCi but it has a slight oil leak from the back of the engine.
Is it going to be anything serious?
To my mind anything with a leak should be avoided but am I wrong?
Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks.

Crank seal behind the flywheel is a bigger bill, Be silly not to replace the clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder/bearing
at the same time.
£600 - £700 to do a clutch change, Unless you goto ford, My sister paid £1200 for a full clutch & a starter motor.
Also know for the sump to leak, Not common but a couple of cases reported. Washer on the sump plug not been replaced
often enough?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Mine is on the top end of 143k and has no oil leaks. As others have said, there's plenty out there so go to the next one.0
