manchester airport to alton towers HELP

me and my boyfriend are trying to plan a trip to alton towers next tuesday, but thing is we will have to go by train and want to get there early as poss, now i no theres not a train that goes right to the park so can anyone help me with how to get there!
PS we will be leavin from manchester airport.

Type in Alton Towers and Manchester Airport and time/date your going to get options.

I suspect Stoke or Uttoxeter Station are nearest.

The nearest train station is Stoke. There are buses run from the station straight to Alton Towers. Times are on the Alton Towers website but the first bus leaves at 7.10am. That early enough for you?

or just hire a car for the day from the airport. It might actually be cheaper for 2 of you.

Definately train to stoke on trent and then get a bus from stoke direct to alton towers. However the times they run at may not give you a massive amount of time in the park.
