I bought one of these last year and I have been very happy with it. It's had quite heavy use charging leisure batteries. Unlike traditional battery chargers it is small and light and automatically switches to maintenance mode when charging is complete.

I would go for a CTEK Battery Charger. They seem to win most reviews on Auto Express:

The lidl version of the CTEK is great, and only was only 12.99, they seem to have it each year in their winter motoring week which is usually around the beginning of november0

I bought a CTEK charger, Works well, I keep missing the LIDL version which would be ideal as a backup.
They are slow chargers though, Not what you want if you need to put in enough charge to start the car in a
short space of time, You need a higher capacity one or one with a boost feature.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
