British Gas changed my meter reading
I submitted my meter reading on 12th March it was 59807 and now they have sent me a new bill and changed my meter reading I sent them to 69807 in the part 'On 12 Mar 2011 You gave us a reading' consequently making the bill much higher. Isn't this fraud? and what should I do about it?

Don't forget to request cheque if account in credit when you leave utility supplier
I have just received my final gas and electricity statements from my supplier. I called to see when they would be crediting my bank with the amount they owe me and suprise suprise it's not automatically done. You have to request a cheque. Gas Meters
Is the only difference between a metric meter and an imperial meter the fact one measures in cubic meters and the other in cubic feet? I'm with Scottish power and have to do all of the meter readings myself, now the website where you enter these say I have an imperial meter yet the meter itself says it measures in m3. If…

What are Eon playing at insisting on 31.25% increase?
I moved their Dual fuel Eon SaveOnline3 contract on 20/10/10. Agreed to pay a twelveth of the annual cost monthly by direct debit and as estimated cost based on previous year consumption was £75.24 per month I suggested £80 per month. This they happily agreed to. I have so far managed to average 13.82% for Electricity and…
