Gas is 8894.74 kWh at 3.050p each £271.29 and Standing charge at 27.970p for 94 day(s) £26.29,total £297.58 minus VAT.

Electricity is 2718 at 11.53p each £313.38 and Standing charge at 15.680p for 76 day(s) £11.92 PLUS 09 Mar 2011 - 30 Mar 2011
Standard energy units 786 at 11.47p each £90.15 and Standing charge at 15.680p for 22 day(s),total charge Total charges before VAT £418.90.

Yes it is excessive you are using in excess of 35kWh of electricity per day yet you have gas. What is using so much electricity? You need to cut that down.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

also get off standard hydro rates, if you don't want to go cos, at least ask them for price fix 5 which is cheaper and a fixed rate againts increase in the next year (if any occur), but as HappyMJ stated, 35kwh per day is A LOT average is between 9-16kwh a day and that is based on winter consumption

It is too simplistic to say it is excessive electricity consumption(and for that matter the gas consumption) without knowing and details about the house and number of occupants.

Certainly electricty is above average, whilst gas is probably slightly below average.

Plenty of people report higher electricity consumption.

Without doubt you can get a cheaper tariff.
