We made an online application last week-end to switch to a British Gas duel fuel capped deal. We're already a British Gas customer for gas. Can anybody tell us how long it will take for the process to become effective?

Confused Scottish Hydro Duel User!
At present we get both our gas & electricity from Scottish Hydro Electric. Our usage of gas costing £500 per annum (27-jul-07 to 31-jul-08) and electric £1092.44 p.a.
