HELP!

I want to switch supplier.

I've read the advice from Martin on the main site article. Then I've been on the comparison websites.

From the results I've chosen Ebico.

I'd like to switch and get cashback by going via one of the comparison sites. ;)

I tried the 3 recommended comparision /switching sites and they don't have a link, probably because Ebico doesn't pay anything to the sites.

I suppose Topcashback won't work either?

Am I doing something wrong or is there no working link?:o

On the comparison sites like moneysupermarket its they who pay you the cash back - a couple of months down the line. On the site can you "apply" now to Ebico - if so, thats the "link"
  • If you're looking to use TopCashBack / Quidco / CashBackKings or anyother, you need to first of all clear your cookies and then go directly to the energy companies website using the link provided by the cashback site. e.g. Clear cookies, go onto TopCashBack, login, search for e.g. ScottishPower, then go directly to the ScottishPower website and signup.

From your text I assume you are trying to use something like TopCashBack then go via USwitch. You can't do that to claim your cashback from TopCashBack because USwitch will be generating its own cashback (they may give some of it to you and keep the rest for providing the comparison service).

Also, you'll find that many of the fixed / capped offers have been withdrawn from the energy companies websites over the last couple of days and replaced with more expensive tariffs; however you may still find something competitive (alternatively you may need to call the energy company to get the older rates and forego the cashback).

    Good luck...

As a non profit making organisation Ebico dont pay Comparism Sites to recommend them.

Thats why they dont get a mention on the Cashback Maximiser.
