To cap or not to cap

Sorry, I know plenty of these going around now. Just been chatting to my sister who has decided not to cap as she's a low energy user.

Looking at mine, I currently pay £360/year capped until Sep 08. My cheapest cap is £425 but was looking at staying with EDF at £480, that way no hassle for sake of £5/month.

Just looked, cheapest non-cap is showing at £313 with BG and works out £45 year less than current. I worked out the difference of £313 and £480 to be 34%.

I'm guessing therefore, big question is whether they are going to rise 34% in another 12months.

What are all your thoughts?

Thanks
