Which company for high consumption?
Were currently on BG standard rate. We have a mix of blown hot air and gas central heating so the bills are huge. A single larger gas boiler is no good as I'm bringing the house down in a couple of years and rebuilding with solar units.
So as what I would call a high volume domestic consumer:
Gas: 14,317KWH
&
Elec: 16,652KWH per year
What tariff would be advisable. The price comparison sites all point at BG, but a guy on business news this morning said go for Eon? (Not at me, at the camera
)
Also, this BG 35% increase, is that yet to come or is that yesterdays increase. I worked out yesterdays increase to be much less than even 25%, so I'm thinking this big rise is to come??
