Confusion over nice gesture
Hi, I have sold a few bits on evil bay this week, and after 1 buyer asked for combined postage after the end of an auction I realised that two of the other winners had won multiple items also. I combined the postage for each of them. It seemed the nice thing to do. Now the person who asked for the combining has paid, and I…

I hate the DSR system
Just run a report, and two buyers have left me 3* for postage and packing charges. I wouldn't mind, but I subsidise alll my postage charges (sometimes by as much as £5) ! I know the answer is free postage, but the majority of my items weigh between 1 & 2 kilos, and building it into the starting price really isn't an option.

Dispute - Ebay/Paypal
I bought an item recently that I did not receive, communication with the seller was excellent and he asked me to open a case (which I did) so that the refund could be processed. I had heard that it is better to open a case through Paypal than Ebay but when I attempted to do so in Paypal it re-directed me to Ebay to open a…

Hi guys, Just a quick question regarding ebay. Someone in Australia has bid on two of my items. I offer free P&P within the UK and I was under the impression that as I didn't offer postage anywhere other than the UK, overseas buyers couldn't bid...where have I gone wrong? Many thanks

Changing a live auction to allow overseas bidders
I have my auctions set to only allow UK bidders, but I have a query from a buyer in Finland and I would like to let them bid. My auction already has one bid on it, but I can't figure out how to change the settings to add Europe to my postl destinations, and add the postage cost. I went to revise, clicked on the buyer…

eBay Seller not claiming my payment from Paypal?
Not too sure what to do with a recent ebay purchase so I'm after advice if anyone can help. On Monday morning I bought a PS3 console on eBay for a good price, but not an unfair price on the seller. Although if the auction had ended on a busy period rather than 11am Im sure they could have got a bit more for it. I paid via…

Ebay - Refund/Return
I sold some shoes on eBay and the payer took nearly two weeks to pay and only did so after I sent a message saying I would have to file a non-payer claim. I sent the shoes swiftly after payment via Paypal. Six weeks later, yes that's SIX weeks she emailed me to say she would like a refund, the shoes had not arrived and she…

bought a used PSU from an amazon seller
I bought a "used-like new" Seasonic PSU for my computer from an amazon marketplace seller. It arrived today, looks fine, box a bit tatty but that's to be expected. Thing is I noticed there is a red "TEST" sticker on the side of the box, a small sticker about 2cm square with "TEST" in black. I'm a bit concerned about this…

I have read the odd comment on here saying that they are that reliable but I have sent messages to six sellers, sometimes more than one and had one reply. Best way to post item value £100?
Must confess I haven't used the post office in a long while and I'm not sure of my options. I need to return a faulty GPS watch to Southampton, it's worth around £100. The post office website for regular parcels says compensation is £46 max, so is special delivery my best option? It just seems a bit ott as I'm in no hurry.
