There must be an easier way to post!

Here I am in a hot sweaty P.O. with 2 whining kids and 14 parcels to post - there must be an easier way!
How do you all do your parcels?

Royal Mail collect ours.

I stamp mine all at home, put them in a sack (or small bag at the moment as I am not listing much) and drop them off at a mail centre who stamp my bulk proof of postage.

So do you bulk buy stamps in different denominations by the sheet from your local Post Office?

Parcel2Go.com do all ours, they collect them the next day.

I order them in bulk from Royal Mail , if you buy over £50 then postage is free. The majority of my items go 2nd class packet at £2.20 so that is 2 x 1st and 2 x 2nd class stmaps (and I bought around £1000 before the postage went up).

1st class, standard parcels and airmail I use paypal postage for .

Thanks Soolin - do you use A4 sheets of paper for the labels - how big are they? and then use those document enclosed labels wallets?

Nope, I am really low tech (aka lazy). I use plain paper and print off all my addresses from paypal. I then sellotape those labels to envelope leaving a large blank, unsellotaped area to stick the stamps.

Items in jiffy bags just have the address written directly onto packaging.

Then stick stamps on, add return address sticker to back(I buy them off ebay from a very cheap seller) and Bobs your uncle. I have a small note in packaging (I print them up at 8 to a sheet), thanking people for their purchase and giving my return address, ebay ID and email address in case of problems.

That;s it- couldn't be simpler. I have it all laid out here on my desk, a pile of packaging slips, my stamps, my scales and a letter size gauge
