What is your average postage bill a week/month? You could save by having a Royal Mail account and if you spend over a certain amount per annum, collection is free. Even if you didn't qualify for free collection, you can drop of account mail at any post office.0

Either get a few in you, or slip some in to your childrens drinks, either way it will be easier.
I actually bought them both an ice-cream and asked them to sit on the little wall outside (we live in a village) but it just made things worse as they were soon dripping chocolate ice-cream all over the shop and crying as it was melting so fast!
Vodka just makes me sweat!0 -

You wouldn't qualify for a free collection but you would save money by having an account. The savings are less now with a standard account unless you're VAT registered but I read somewhere about the RM wanting to offer a business account for small users, who providing they send less than a certain number of parcels per year would not be charged VAT (so cheaper than the po but VAT free as in the po). You'd need to ring the business section of RM for info on what account would suit you best.chemical.galaxy wrote: »£300 to £400 per month
If you want to continue using a po then have you asked them if you can leave the parcels with them and pay the following day? I used to do this and several others used to do so in in my local po.0 -
How do you wrap kids up for posting?chemical.galaxy wrote: »I am in a hot sweaty P.O. with 2 whining kids and 14 parcels to post0 -

I'll get my boyfriend some of those for Christmas. He always seems to run into screaming kids - luckily we finished our meal in the carvery the other night before the kids associated with the family on the table beside us started howling.
As for me, if I'm feeling bad, inevitably there will be a crying baby in the background - I can't help going, 'know how you're feeling, mate!'."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
