I hate the DSR system

Just run a report, and two buyers have left me 3* for postage and packing charges.

I wouldn't mind, but I subsidise alll my postage charges (sometimes by as much as £5) !

I know the answer is free postage, but the majority of my items weigh between 1 & 2 kilos, and building it into the starting price really isn't an option.

I've never had a low star for P&P despite using mailing stickers which just show 1st/2nd so the buyer has no idea what the postage has cost me. I do though use the post office prices and quote postage at exactly the same price as they charge, even though I pay less by having a RM account. So for a 500g item my postage would be £2.20 for 2nd class with no packing costs added in.

Are you using recorded as this seems to annoy some buyers? If you're using the cheapest postal method and are charging less than it's costing you then I don't know why you're being left low stars. If you're using a courier then the buyer just may consider the postage cost high even though they don't know the cost being paid by you.

I have a royal mail business account which doesn't show the cost so how they have worked out I have overcharged I have no idea

I quote delivery by other courier (3-5 days) but then post by royal mail first class so they get a much better service than they have paid for. the majority of the items weigh between 1 & 2 kilos and I charge £3.99 postage
