To Pay or Not To Pay - 6 months before 6 year expiry of default notice
Hi my first post and if this is the wrong area or if this question has been asked and answered before a hundred times then I apologise in advance. The situation is that we have been in dispute with Bank Of Scotland Mastercard since 2001 - since that time they have consistently failed to provide proof of the alleged debt to…

Has anyone left a DMP with CCCS or payplan and resumed their regular payments?
Hi all, I've just worked out that with OH payrise in the new year I'll most likely be able to resume my normal payments as he can take over some of the household expenses. Plus my DMP payment to my CC is now above the minimum so the interest is no longer frozen anyway. Has anyone got any experience of this? Did the…

Can I move house with £3.5k debt?
I earn £1,100 after deductions (a month) - do you think it will go against me to have £3.5k debt? I will obviously have cleared more of it by the time we apply for our new mortgage (own current home, want to move to second house next year), but want to have an idea of where we stand. Thanks as always.

Transferring exisiting CC debt and overdraft to new CC?
Would it be a big mistake to do this? My 0% is due to expire soon on my current credit card (HSBC) and I thought I could move both my overdraft debt and my Credit Card balance to a new card. I would much rather have it in one place (the debt) and put my current account back in the black so I know where I am.. I've not been…

I will try and explain the basics, but bear with me as my typing skills are not good. He…
