How do people make the extra money on their signature.

I may sound stupid for this as I know some are easy to understand - penny / loose change jar, £1/£2 jar, ebay ..... but there seem to be a few I dont h ave a clue of. (though i suppose money from nothing is self explanitary)

Suppose I could always sell my body (get a few pennies (i think)

    Refund and Retain

If Tesco charge a higher price at the till than the shelf label says then it lets you keep the item and gives you a refund of the purchase price; if you complain to customer services

  • money from nothing is a challenge over on another thread, started by e hallett.

you have 11 weeks to make £1024 from nothing any which way you can, you start by making a pound then doubling it each week over the 11 week period.

I am 4 weeks into the challenge so my target is actually £8 but as you can see by my signature im actually a few weeks ahead of myself. so far ive sold stuff on ebay and at a car boot sale, also sold an argos voucher aquired from online surveys to my mum
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
  • Claiming back bank charges helped get rid of a nice chunk of my debt.

Best bet is to pay a visit to the Gambling Introductory Offers board and start reading... there's a lot to take in.

Edited to say that it's a practice designed to extract as much hard cash as possible from the introductory offers given by bookies. But there's a much better explanation in the newbie/starter stickies over on the other board.
