Payments
I am with Barclay card and I currently owe 280 on my credit card. I like to do it all online to save any hassle and when I went to pay it I could only pay £100!! I thought I would be able to clear the balance in full...? But It says that my maximum payment allowed is £100! Anyone know why? Thanks.

I lost my Credit Card Details (perhaps)
Hi Some urgent advice please. I dropped my Tesco credit card (1 month old) at my office desk yesterday evening and found it on my desk today morning. It must be some part-time external cleaner who would have found it and kept it back on my desk (thankfully) . Now I am not sure if my card details have been noted down…

Where is my £15 from Amazon?
Having applied for an Amazon card, tempted by the £15 voucher - v useful for Christmas - I now discover the reqrd is in the form of points which are accumulated each time you use the card. It will take forever to build up £15 so it doesn't seem worth it. Could it be that Martin's money saving tip has been so popular Amazon…

When are companies allowed to debit a credit card?
Hi, Does anyone know at what point a company can debit your credit card when they don't have stock of the goods? Example:- I buy online a fridge freezer, the company takes the payment immediately but does not have stock of the item. It takes them over 2 weeks to get the goods and then eventually deliver. Should they not…

Credit Card Interest Payments - Basic Question!
I have a question over a credit card statement that's only resulted in a charge of a few pence but has made me question how these things are calculated. I've had credit cards for the best part of 5 years, generally interest free and always paying off the full amount before any interest is due. However, on my last zero…

Sainsburys-"nothing to offer!"
I just had to come on to the forum to tell you how bad the service will be if you have a Sainsburys credit card. My Sainsbury card currently has a £0 balance and they have just increased my credit limit to £3900. So naturally, as I am getting ready to transfer balances, and on the advice of another helpful money saver, I…

Two Amex cards?
Hi all, Just been trying to make my mind up about the next credit card. I had a spot of bother with my HSBC card (probably had it for about 12 years in all) which was cancelled as some low life cloned it and took over £5k in cash. Then the bank seemed to imply it was my fault... well they were not very helpful and it took…

Quick Egg Money cashback question
Can't find the answer to this, so hopefully someone can help.... If you have a positive balance on an Egg Money credit card and use it to make purchases, do you get cashback (in addition to the 4% interest)? Or do you only get cashback if you're spending Egg's money, as opposed to yours? Thanks
