Cheeky Credit Care Request

in Credit cards
Hello, through reading posts on this website I know that sometimes being cheeky can pay off.
I am looking for a 0% interest card, (one of my cards I owe nothing on has just wrote with a offer of 0% for 6 months) is it worth ringing up the credit card company I have an outstanding balance with and asking if they'll match it?! Or are they likely to say no?
Anybody done this, did it work.
Thanks in advance,
Elfy

Doesnt hurt to try, I did with Halifax and they declined...but they told me to close my a/c and re-apply in 30 days. Which I was pre-approved for and got it with no bt but nothing close to my original limit. Sorry
not a positive answer really

Why not simply transfer the balance?
Then the other company may make you an offer within 6 months and you can transfer it back for another 0% period.

It never hurts to ask mate, discreetly ask if they will be checking your credit report again though, you don’t want too many checks to show up. To be honest with a 0% request I can’t see any reason they would unless it’s standard procedure.0
