I remember in the past credit card companies used to advertise 0% balance transfers for life. I have had a look on the site and can't see any. Are there any of these still out there at the moment?

No, 6 and 9 month 0% offers are pretty standard, you get the odd 12 month 0% (normally for purchases only though) and Capital One will do a 18 month 0% every few months as a promo - but I think they're quite difficult to get.2p off is still 2p off!0

Did companies really advertise 0% for life a while ago? I don't remember these and would have certainly took up the offer if there were such offers.
Any examples of companies that offered this?
Thanks

I don't either, I'm sure I would have signed up for one of these! Are you not getting it confused with Egg, whereby you get 0% every year for 5 months in your anniversary month???2p off is still 2p off!0

There was 0% for life both Barclaycard and Capital One did it. However unsurprisingly there were massive catches and unless you played them correctly you'd be in schtum. Of course there was a special scheme for MoneySavers that managed to get round this, and many people still have the 0% Barclaycard (i know as i did a charity subscription service which got round the terms and conditions and many still pay it)
Sadly there are no more of these schemes, not really surprising as I suspect the loophole cost BCs many millions.

Did Texaco not offer a 0% interest for life card a while back? If not it was a card with a very low rate for life.0

Think Texaco did a 1.9% or 2.9% card a while ago.
