No cooking hob for xmas thanks to Currys
So, we have just bought a NEFF induction hob from Currys for our new kitchen. After being fitted by our electrician it isn't working. Powers up and setting can be set but the hobs do not detect any pans, (we have new copper based ones). I phoned currys to report the fault who told me I had to have a NEFF engineer out to…

I have had my Apple iPhone 5S for just over 2 years after having it as a 48th birthday present. My iPhone has never been subjected to knocks or drops and has always been looked after. The battery…

Planning Permission Query
Sorry if this is the wrong forum section, wasn't sure which category it fitted ... I owned an old 3 storey house that was B1 office use with my business partner. In February 2016 we were granted planning permission to change to a 6 bedroom student house and work commenced on the property straight away. The VOA rated it as…

Laptop broken just out of warranty - anything I can do?
Bought one of those fancy 2-in-1 laptops just over a year ago. It's broken, it works as a tablet but won't click over into laptop mode. The warranty is, surprise surprise, 12 months. Is there anything I can do here or am I stuffed for a costly repair? It was from Curry's if that makes any difference.

WE had 2 rear bedroom windows replaced just over a year ago, all was fine. Opened the curtains over the weekend and one of the panes was cracked to to bottom, one of the inside panes (so you could touch it from inside the house). If it matters, it was one of the opening parts of the window. No idea how it happened,…

Argos Refusing Service?
Hi everyone, My sister has recently been informed by our local Argos that they will no longer serve her. She has, in the past few months, taken back a few laptops and tablets (she claims that each return was legit) and from the sounds of it has used the money from one to pay for the next, so Argos has regained the money…

failed 2 months out of warranty...
I bought a pair of waterproof "adventure" motorcycle boot on 6th Oct 2015. Despite their more sturdy build I've only ever used them for commuting. When it rained last week my toes got wet despite wearing my waterproof trousers over the top of my boots. As the top of my socks and trousers were not wet I'm confident the rain…

About a month ago I received an unexpected gift from a friend living in the US, which was delivered to me in the UK via FedEx.
