How long for a refund?

I purchased a dress online from Shopaholic UK on 17/10/2016 and paid by credit card.
The dress didn't fit so I returned the item to them and it was signed for on 03/11/2016.
I received an email to confirm this on 17/11/16 and I am still awaiting a refund.
The correspondence says to expect delays during busy periods and that they are unable to give me a date to expect my refund.
I was just wondering if there is anything I can do? The dress was £75.00. I have made sure I did everything to return the item on time and undamaged as per the returns policy.
Thanks in advance

  • Legally the refund should be 'without undue delay' - they have a maximum of 14 days so they are already out with that.

You can pursue it with credit card provider if you haven't been in touch with them?
