I have read that LLoyds TSB now pffer a 2in1 Visa debit card with their basic account, but there are two opinions on if you can get one? (1) For this card they only do an 'Identity' check? (2) For this card they still do aFULL credit check, no scoring though. Which is correct? Can anyone from LLoyds TSB confirm? Or anyone…

A & L Current Accounts - Have I heard Right
I opened an A&L Current account and regular saving a couple of years ago when they were doing the 10% thing for Regular Savers. Since it finished and I took the money out I haven't used the accounts. Annual Overdraft Review (A+L)
Has anyone else had their overdraft go through annual review, and had their limit lowered, I've had mine dropped from £2000 to £1000, in the first year it was interest free, so it was easier to live in Overdraft so I could pay the credit cards and loan off faster. The £2000 overdraft limit was inherited when I switched to…

Which bank account?
We are about to let out a property through an agency, and they recommend we get a separate bank account for the mortgage and rent money, so we can keep the excess back for repairs etc. It sounds like a good idea to me as any extra money in our usual account will soon be swallowed up! Can anyone recommend an account that…

...I was in a rush at HSBC the other day and after putting x amount of money into my account noticed a coin machine... Am I right in thinking these machines will take a bag of coins, sort it and pay it into your account free of charge? Unlike the Coinstar machines at supermarkets? ...or will I still need to bag up x amount…

Halifax take Direct Debits at the start of the day!

My statement shows that at no time was I overdrawn. I rang Halifax who are adamant that as they pay DDs between 0000 and 0500…

So no fees. I…

Switching banks with a Overdraft
Just a simple question which the banking sites don't seem to make clear If I move banks using the switching services will my current overdraft me moved, or am I left to pay that off directly with my old bank? can you pay into Halifax/BoS using a cashpoint?
Simple question really. I always used to pay into my Abbey account using the cashpoint, it takes an extra day to clear but that usually isn't a problem compared with the convenience of not having to go into the branch. I recall reading on my new BoS terms & conditions that I can pay in using a cashpoint - however the…
