We are about to let out a property through an agency, and they recommend we get a separate bank account for the mortgage and rent money, so we can keep the excess back for repairs etc. It sounds like a good idea to me as any extra money in our usual account will soon be swallowed up!
Can anyone recommend an account that would be suitable for this? It will have £410 per month going in and around £300 coming out - the rest will stay there until it's needed. It would be handy to have some interest growing on the little bit we have left over each month.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
