After changing your name using a deed poll and the bank complies and gives you new cheque books and Debit cards, is it possible to deposit cheques in your old name to the account? I was wondering for the £100 RBS are offering if you switch your bank account to them, it says you must use the switching team to transfer your Direct Debits...if you don't have any direct debits then do you not qualify for the £100?
