Calling all Nationwide FlexAccount Holders

Hi
For those of you who use internet banking to manage your NW Flexaccount, you will probably be aware that when you view your mini-statement online it doesn't give you full details of each transaction...it just lists type of transaction eg "standing order", "direct debit" and so on. To see full details of each transaction you have to click on "view full statement" but that is only up until the previous working day. Now when you call Nationwide and speak to a live operator they are able to give you full details of each transaction on the mini-statement by going into a SECOND system which their customers don't have access to thru online banking. They told me over the phone that if they get enough demand from their customers then they will consider allowing their customers access to this second "system" online, they probably won't do it at the request of a few customers due to the costs involved. So if you use NW online banking frequently and you would prefer to see more details on your mini-statement, just send them an online message requesting this facility, i'm sure they would do something about this if the demand was there. I think this would especially benefit those customers like me who use NW as their main account with frequent transactions.
Thanks!

That's helpful to know but if more than 12 items have occurred overnight/the following morning you cannot then see every transaction by the combination of mini statement and yesterda'ys itemised statement. I doubt that Nationwide could peer beyond the beginning of the mini-statement. This can be avoided by limiting the number of standing orders on a particular day, for instance......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

I have to say that this 'issue' with NBS internet banking isn't something that really causes me any grief. Being a good moneysaver, I keep quite close tabs on what goes in and out of my account (in fact, I've been described as 'meticulous'!), and it's a 1 in 1000 chance that I can't recognise a transaction by the mini-statement description and amounts alone.
Nevertheless, I'll pop them a secure message if it helps other people43580 -
I tend to agree with Hazzanet, that this issue is really not a problem for me. I have just accepted that the mini-statement is a snapshot, and the full statement gives transactions to the close of business the previous day.0

Thanks for the information. I don't have many transactions through this account but would find more details useful in some instances.0
