Coming to the end of a 12 month contract with PO broadband which has been terrible so looking to switch. Initial switch to them from Plusnet was a pain, took over a week to sort, wondering if switching back to Plusnet will be seamless, particularly at the minute, anyone have any insight? Have switched between providers…

Does anyone know anything about Virgin Media installation?
We currently have Sky TV/Phone/Broadband but the internet is dire. I want to get Virgin (broadband only) as the estimated speeds are nearly 100x better and doesn't need the phone line which the sky is using. The Virgin website confirms that my address can be connected. What I don't understand is how the cable will get to…

Parental Controls - Shell Energy Broadband
Beware Shell Energy Broadband - they have NO parental controls. I realised this on Day 1 of the service, but Shell Energy won't let me leave without paying a full year - this means there is NO WAY to set the router to block !!!!!! sites - not ideal if you have teenagers. Any suggestions?

Any happy TalkTalk customers?
Just signed up to there faster fibre with TV and free Amazon prime for £25pm. I'm now seeing quite a few complaints of intermittent connection problems and Zero customer service. Am I just reading the bad press or should I be looking to cancel and move supplier?

Is there a usable email address for Virgin Media
I have an issue with Virgin. Trying to phone them I cannot get past their requirement for me to punch in a password of which I have no knowledge. I have tried to use their chat facility online but have waited around for 2 whole days for the right department to respond with no success. I found an email address but Iv'e had…

Contact Plusnet as ex customer
Changed provider as of March 16 (to John lewis, provided by Plusnet!). Plusnet removed me as customer so I cannot sign into previous account, raise question, or look at its 'community'. Have tried every which way to contact it: customer service/previous bills emails not monitored, Chat offline. It has however, taken an…

To improve my ability to work from home I need to upgrade my internet from bog standard broadband to fibre... I'm currently with SSE broadband, however there is no way online to upgrade my package and I can't speak to anyone as their phone line is for 'vulnerable' / emergency customers only. Signed up to Virgin Broadband and have then found a better deal with them? Can I negotiate price?
I found a uswitch offer from Virgin last night as the flat I'm moving to I know has Virgin installed and I need internet straight away for work. Got an online deal £27 pound a month, 18 months (longer than I wanted really) no set up fee. Ordered it all to be sent to my new flat. Looked around after stupidly and found a…

Vodafone Broadband less than half speed promised, can I leave without fees?
So for sometime now, Vodafone's Superfast 2 package, we were getting speeds 63mbps and above, great, then it kept dropping to 53mbps, acceptable, plus we were getting 15% discount. Now since lockdown the speed is 36.5mbps and now the service drops out completely. Vodafone tech team blame BT Open Reach and say it could be 2…

How can we cancel our Plusnet broadband & home phone without high cost?
We are pensioners. We've been Plusnet customers since Plusnet started. We don't use our home phone or broadband any more (just our mobile phones now), but for a couple of years we find ourselves in a never-ending cancellation cost trap with Plusnet. Our current broadband contract (£1 per month) ends on 30 June 2020, and…

Working out when my BT contract ends
I'm just over a year into being a BT customer with around 6 months left on the contract. However I get an email from BT a few days back asking me to renew my contract. Either it's premature or I was only on an annual contract (although if that's the case it should have ended by now). I've tried looking on MyBT and I can't…

Virgin Media - Avoiding, unhelpful and a complete nightmare
I cannot believe the lack of service that I am having at the moment and by at the moment I mean 4-6 weeks of any assistance. I moved into my new flat close to two years ago. Since then I have only had freeview television. Several weeks ago there was a promotion on for a broadband and television bundle so I decided to take…

BT Deals
My line rental is due at the end of the month. I would like to combine it with the broadband/anytime calls/1571/etc deal I have but every time I speak to Bt I’m told it’s not possible. Living on an island BT are the only people I see doing repairs/installation etc so they are preferred provider but at £60 plus per month…
